Come on down for some Standard Format Pokemon! Gamer's Lair is back to hosting weekly Pokemon TCG tournaments, and we're excited to see everybody again!
Event Entry:
Entry to play is $6 after taxes, and will include on Pokemon TCG booster pack of your choice.
Tournament Structure:
Pokemon TCG events are played in 30 minute, best of 1 style games. Events are also done using Swiss rounds, with the number of rounds being determined by the number of players in attendence as follows:
What is Standard Format?
Standard Format is a variation of the Pokemon TCG where players are only allowed to play cards that have been printed within the last few years, and each year there is a rotation that removes the oldest sets in the format to make room for the newest ones. - 4-8 Players: 3 Rounds of Swiss
- 9-16 Players: 4 Rounds of Swiss
- 17+ Players: 5 Rounds of Swiss
Event Prizing:
1 Booster pack will be added to our pirze pool for every 2 players who enter our tournament, these packs will be handed out to top performing players at the conclusion of the event.
